To be honest, I'm getting sick and tired of this Presidential campaign: the lies, attacks, biases, and fear-mongering. I'm sick and tired of the accusations and smirks, sneers and scowls. Most of all, I'm angry that our Country has permitted this display, the likes of which I've not seen to this degree in my life. This campaign has become shameful, unpleasant and embarrassing - in front of our children and the World. There used to be a time, not so long ago, when a candidate would talk of their hopes, their dreams, their objectives and goals.
These are the same qualities necessary for happy and satisfying partnered and marital relationships. Our candidates are behaving like a bickering couple, and IT'S NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST FOR THE CHILDREN AND THE FAMILIES AND OUR COUNTRY who view it. Our country is NOT a reality TV show. The welfare of our future depends on our future leaders to set the appropriate tone and standards at ALL times. And the health of our relationships depends on how we treat our partners at all times...with dignity and respect.
