I just came inside from digging out my car (7" of snow fell here in Montgomery County), and my fingers and toes felt as though they were frostbitten. I just couldn't warm up. Then, I started thinking about the warmth of the Summer sun, and, walking on the hot sand at the beach. My brain must have sent a warming signal because my body started to feel warm, and my feet started to feel more comfortable. My suggestion would be to think about a personal experience you've had, e.g., for me, it was the experience at the beach on one of those really hot days. Really focus on that, and you will find that you are able to warm your body through this meditative visualization. Imagine what you could do to change your negative thoughts or mood with this power of suggestion.
